What we do with your details

Short, and written to be read. If a paragraph here is unclear, tell us.

Who is responsible

Yacht Holidays Group Single Member P.C., GEMI 191598401000, 41 Agiou Dimitriou, Piraeus 18547, Greece. We are the data controller for anything you send us through this website. Write to about any of it.

What we collect

From the inquiry form: your name, your email address, and what you write in the message. If you choose to fill them in, also your telephone number, your preferred destination, the dates you have in mind and the size of your group. Nothing on the form is hidden from you, and there is no tracking pixel inside it.

The form also asks one short arithmetic question and records the moment the page loaded. Both exist only to keep automated messages out. Neither is kept once the message has been accepted.

If you go on to book, we will need more — full names, dates of birth, passport or ID details and sailing qualifications — because the operator and the port authorities require them for the crew list. We ask for those directly and tell you at the time who they are going to.

Why we are allowed to hold it

  • Your consent, for an inquiry. You tick the box; you can withdraw it at any time by writing to us, and we will delete the inquiry.
  • Performing a contract, once you book. We cannot arrange a charter without passing your details to the operator.
  • A legal obligation, for accounting and tax records, which Greek law requires us to keep for a set period.

Who else sees it

For an inquiry: the companies that host this website and carry our email, and HubSpot, which provides the customer relationship system your inquiry is stored in. HubSpot processes it on our behalf, on servers in the European Union, and does not use it for its own purposes. Nobody else. We do not sell data and we do not share it with advertising networks.

For a confirmed booking: the yacht operator and, where one is involved, the local agent and the base — because they are the people who have to receive you. We tell you who they are by name before you book.

How long we keep it

  • Inquiries that do not become bookings: deleted after 24 months, or immediately if you ask.
  • Bookings: kept for the period Greek accounting and tax law requires, and then deleted.
  • Crew list data: deleted once the charter and the settlement after it are closed.

Cookies

This site does not currently set advertising, analytics or profiling cookies of its own, so there is no banner — there is nothing yet to consent to.

That may change. If we add analytics or advertising, this section will name the tool, say what it records and tell you how to refuse it, and a banner will appear before anything of that kind is set. Nothing beyond what a page needs in order to work is ever set without your agreement.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict what we do with it, to receive it in a portable form, or to object to our holding it at all. Write to . We will answer within one month and there is no charge.

If you think we have handled your data badly and our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Αρχή Προστασίας Δεδομένων Προσωπικού Χαρακτήρα) at dpa.gr. We would rather you told us first, but that is your right and not a favor.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and inquiries are transmitted encrypted. Access to your details is limited to the people who need it to arrange your charter.
